A tossup between Noir, Fafner (1st season, for obvious reasons I never bothered with the second when it finally showed up) and Vampire Princess Miyu (the TV series, not the OVA). Maybe Gilgamesh deserves honourable mentions, but to be perfectly honest I really can't remember much of anything about beyond the quite amusing final scene.
Funnily enough the first and last both have brilliant OST, and Fafner's good with a few great tracks.

First Genshiken is great and it should end there. The sequel was inferior, pointless cashgrab I never bothered continuing. Especially since it focuses at new characters that are female yaoi fangirls.

Okay, this is kind of embarrassing but I watched all of this garbage show. The reason? Because the first episode was fucking amazing to Retarded Kid Me. It was a total bait and switch though, the first episode and the OP animation made it seem like it was a meta show where the players existed in a real world while playing a tabletop rpg or video game. I watched episode after episode waiting for the reveal where they'd be sitting around a table messing around. I was so fucking stupid as a kid. You could've given me one of those pieces of paper with "Flip over to entertain idiots" written on both sides and I would've flipped it until I died of starvation.
