The series feels pretty well thought out past the first episodes; they wouldn't make the odd mistake of showing scenes of him by himself doing good guy things if he was pretending. At worst his evil memories are at the present moment suppressed.

Doing "good guy things" is pretty relative in this series. Band Snatch were shown doing good guy things several times despite being the bad guys. The Princesses were also shown doing bad guy things several times despite being the good guys. The Flower knights are probably no different, one of them is already shown doing both bad guy and good guy things.
Everybody in this series seems to genuinely want whats best for Alicepia and its people. That doesn't make them any less evil.

No. Musically I like them both better than their previous iterations. Visually however while I think OP2 trumps the first on account of its sheer promise of wtf greatness (despite the big chorus moments being just a pan over the trio) I find ED2 rather static and boring, which places ED1 with its waterdrop shot ahead of it even if a good quarter of it was also the same running animation.

Kind of. She hasn't done a lot so far. Her personality hasn't been developed beyond calm and cool. She also doesn't really fit with the rest of them design wise. If her, Nacchi and Sax Girl had become more prince-like magical girls, she would have fit in better. I hope they can get me to care about her in the long run.
