Nature is the greatest reference for scientists and engineers (this is even the Aliens’ entire gimmick, even, since their information compression bodies are based upon replicating phenomena and biological organisms they’ve archived), and both Gaia’s Wrath and Daikokuzan will probably serve as strong inspiration for the robots on how to design sturdier structures.

Daikokuzan's mere existence is a natural counter to most things. Jokes aside, the robot powercreep has a ceiling because of how they've been shown to operate. The units are built out of metals and polymers and run on a power source and have computer chips for brains. They haven't broken those rules yet, they recreate the other factions' abilities using their own tools. The robots doing stuff like learning magic or becoming impossibly tough like creatures that aren't built from ordinary industrial materials would be a bit of a copout. They should retain characteristic weaknesses like the other factions.

I don’t think the robots will be alone in adapting and evolving in response to their surroundings. I think the trend will be that the conflicts between Natural Enemies will turn into an arms race, each faction applying what they’ve learned from the others and making themselves even deadlier. Some are straightforward like the robots, like the parasites wanting to snowball and integrating the minds and abilities of others, others definitely need to research to improve, such as the Neo Humans currently are with their study into the Parasites or the Aliens first needing to do something that’ll let them replicate others with their information compression bodies.

I think the ones with the highest starting points will change the least, only simply revealing their greater strengths as they’re forced to, such as with the Demons having obviously stronger characters along their ranks (the Demon King topping them all), or Yaotsu who’s too whimsical to go serious from the start. With enemies like these still yet to unveil their full potential, I think it’s a bit silly to worry about other factions having “too much room” to grow into; that’s the point, they HAVE to grow to match up against beings like these.

You miss the point of them gathering information in the first place. See how the robots sent the basic version of their versus bot to all those different locations. They don’t take it for granted that they don’t need to adapt when they’ve fought stronger enemies already, the point is to keep experimenting with a control group and making gradual changes from there to see how each specific group of enemies react, figuring out how that specific group works rather than applying a single solution to everything. Judging from what we've seen these last few chapters the robot's current objective is just to probe other factions for data with these smaller scale scouting attacks. Most of the factions are retarded or only semi-sentient so the robots aren't running a huge risk of drawing too much aggro from everyone catching on to what they're doing. They seem similar to the parasites where they will become more of a problem as the fight drags on and they snowball as a threat.

We’ve got growth types among the enemies, but I think the ones with really explosive levels of growth are the ones who started off at a lower level compared to the other Natural Enemies, as we see with the Robots who only had to deal with the humans, but are now rapidly adapting new strategies for use against the other Natural Enemies.

With the Titans, I think the point with them is to have the weaker ones die, but for the stronger members to gradually appear and rampage together. I don't think Jachi himself really knows why he's so focused on Hallow. Part of him wants to prove that strength is still key and that he can easily kill Hallow or any NE he encounters without changing his strategies. Another part of him might be conflating Hallow with Kiva as someone with potential; he'd like to see how Hallow handles the new world that Jachi himself is starting to get worried about.

The thing is Verdant Forest only had big normal animals, so the teeth wouldn't be there prior and it's hard to really conclude what that was. Was there a gigantic carnivorous plant that it added teeth onto via parasitism, or is it just an oddly shaped bio-mass that resembles a plant because of all the shit it's absorbed, since the Kyokai Wurm for example is a weird blend of random stuff that become a whole new shape
