It depends on the shade of yellow used. I think poop/amber colored subs look terrible, but bright yellow subs are easier to read than white.

Nah, I torrented SGT Frog back then. Most other anime, too. But I distinctly remember doing the "try to find part 2/3 of Youtube" shuffle back in the day for something I was pretty engrossed in. It just bugs the everloving hell out of me that I can't remember which series I'd have watched that way instead of just torrenting it.

Some day I feel like a lightbulb will go off and it'll be like "oh, that's what it was!", but it still has yet to happen.
