Well all jokes aside Digimon is the more generous series with it's games and TCG. I'm not worried about scalpers trying to jack up Wargreymon cards prices because every box you buy gives you 3 or 4. The casuals are also filtered out since the games are targeted to older teens and isn't afraid of religion, sexiness, or death. Digimon may have started on the same footing as Pokemon but Digimon grew up over time. It took what, 23 years before Ash finally won the big one and got to retire? Meanwhile Taichi is now an adult with his own struggles.
