After seeing nothing but praise about it here, finally watched the first episode. Maomao is literally carrying this show. The premise is interesting but it's Maomao's personality that makes it so enduring and entertaining. Whoever voiced her has done a phenomenal job. Does it expand beyond the brothel of the king, do we get even more world building with Maomao exploring different parts of not-China?

Mary Sue story being ultra tensai and attractive to the point that she has to hide it, while effortlessly having the sole attention of the prettiest man in the story. All the while humanizing every thing a whore does (this is the real focus of the story, as romance takes a backseat)
