Anon, I will be the first to praise Miura's dedication and work ethic, but focusing on minute details and refusing all help from your assistants to the detriment of the manga as a whole is a little bit autistic.

He only started letting his assistants help him more much later, like around Falconia/end of the BOAT.

Also, we're on a childish imageboard, what the fuck are you expecting here?

>thinks what constitutes good and bad artwork is detail
midwit detected. togashi's talent and technique shines through in the nitty gritty fundamentals that are actually necessary for narrative art like manga and not paintings. his gesture drawings, fight choreography, motion blur lines, afterimage drawings, realistic facial expressions, crosshatching techniques emphasizing anatomy, kakeami crosshatching, panel composition, usages of interesting pov angles, general storyboarding and scene flow, general laying of panels, the myriad of panel shapes he uses from rectangular black spaces, to "magnifying glass effect" small panels showcasing one body part during quick movements, to extremely small honeycomb style panel grids showcasing characters reactions all to better illustrate the flow of time and mood during a scene is among the best in all of manga I've ever read. any serious artist worth his salt will be able to see this VERY clearly. you on the other hand are a simple minded buffoon who gets easily impressed by shiny things like details that anyone can do given enough time. you are a midwit, so don't go around critiquing a master's art when you understand none of it, you little worthless talentless piece of shit shounenshitter maggot. kill yourself, unironically, your kind are why more shit manga are coming out.

It's intentional, posting an example would only make the detail-oriented short-sighted maggot only focus on the picrel and leave the rest of the argument, which is ironic given his love for "the details". he would, like the faggot he is, immediately equate its "flashiness" meter (probably his retarded way in discerning good and bad art) to togashi's art quality as a whole when simply 1 page (or even a set of pages) isn't even sufficient to make a correct judgement. You have to actually read the manga, see the flow of the scenes, perceive the emotions in the characters, sense the mood, the danger, to truly get all the grandiosity. I shan't muddy my points by posting "focus on this 1 thing" crumbs to a midwit faggot.

Literally anyone can spend months doing some ultra detailed double page spread like the ones in Berserk. What anyone *can't* do is depict nuanced expressions with just a few lines or utilize paneling intelligently and creatively like how Togashi does. Berserk's art is pretty much vastly overrated by 13 year olds who think that manga is trying to look like realistic paintings.

Not really. Some people just don't have the technical skill or patience for it.
>What anyone *can't* do is depict nuanced expressions with just a few lines or utilize paneling intelligently and creatively like how Togashi does.
True, but those are bare minimum skills to make it big as a mangaka. Even objectively interior draftsmen like Gotouge or Gege could be described in such terms. Togashi's qualities run deeper than that and you should refrain from oversimplifying what his skillset entails like that.
