i've accepted that i will never experience love and for the most part i'm okay with it these days but seeing the way she acted with denji in the movie brought back the sadness.

I experienced love for the first time by the end of 2023 at the age of 21. I was with her for a year before things ended horribly. Mutual first everything, and so on.
I don't think I will ever move on. I hate the "oh it's worse to experience love and lose it than never experience it at all" meme, but day by day, it's getting worse and I sometimes wish I never experienced it after all.

Watching the Reze movie honestly made me more suicidal than not. They conveyed the pain of it all concisely and accurately.

Yeah, this was my least favorite arc in part 1 because I immediately saw her as "just another girl who'll try to kill Denji and die". Appreciated the story and her character a whole lot more in the movie.

My heart goes out to you, anons. I've loved and lost and had more romantic and sexual experiences than I can count before ending up happily single in my 30's. But I really do empathize with the pain you're all feeling, even if I've found my own kind of contentedness. I hope it gets better and the you find happiness in some form. Yeah, I was able to gloss over the tragic tones of the manga and not be affected by it, but witnessing it on screen and with the context of how absent she's been from the story after all this time, it does hit a bit different.
