The world didn't seem all that interesting. I watched and finished up the fight with poison claw dude. The fight felt janky for how many times MC should of lost.. also everyone lived too felt like the series would never have any weight. its going too slow, and very little has actually happened so far. and yet despite that, very few actual decisions have been made. its just been "go with the flow of what other people say" for the mc. the enemies are fucking awful too.

also, i really dont like how this season is going. this current arc of everyone split up and having their own face offs is a cute and classic concept, but their execution of it is fucking AWFUL. too many cuts breaking the flow. it doesnt create tension/suspense, it just ruins the build ups. also the main conversation with the big bad and the mc is fucking stupid and boring, which makes cutting it up into pieces between the fighting even dumber.

On this, I remember dropping the manga when I was reading weekly because it was too boring. Then I binged the whole thing when they had around 60 chapters and thought it was great. But yeah, the pacing especially early on sucks. Disagree on the cuts though, I thought they were really well done, but agree that the main conversation is boring.

The show is cool, I really like the power system and the characters are fun, but it also feels too meandering, which seems to be a problem with all current WSJ battle shonen. It's been 16 episodes, and what have they achieved, really? Rudo still knows jack shit, the world hasn't changed in any significant way, and we've mostly been battling foes of the same power level, with the claw nigga getting TWO full-blown multi-episode fights with the same fucking people. The only significant plot advancement was with Amo, and even that created more questions than it answered. And again, this is an issue a lot of WSJ stuff has, Ichi the Witch being the biggest offender. I wonder if it's a problem with their current editorial staff.
Also, Mori's opening is just too fucking cringe, I can't take it seriously because I'm too familiar with her.

It's kinda boring. Despite it having everything that I like, with great art to boot I just can't care about it at all, I wish I knew why since I even like manga that go slower to explore the world. I had stopped reading at Amo getting pounded by Rudo because I knew it wouldn't get better than that but I decided to catch up recently and there almost wasn't anything as good as that moment, but Follo's awakening was great too, the information broker was cool too.

I like it but lest be honest, the artstyle is the only intwresting thing (and the anime looks mid). The manga looks amazing but the plot is boring, mediocre and the characters are not super interesting, the desings are great, and like I said the art style is unique and yeah some battles here and there look pretty cool. But other than that, this manga is mid
