Naturally as a named chapter it covers Yae's whole history and philosophy and then a conclusion to Rem and Yae's fight.
Shinobi life is pretty shitty and Yae has an interesting parallel to Rem in that she hates "special" things, including herself. She doesn't want to be acknowledged as the genius she is and the more people that says she is the more self-loathing she gets. Eventually this starts being challenged when she meets Priscilla who is special beyond special and doubly so when she gets completely buck broken by Al. She continuously rejects her attachment or fascination with these people as love and this will be relevant later in theory.
As far as the fight goes, they're fighting except now Rem is pretty much fighting even and Yae is complaining about how she suddenly got stronger. Rem can more or less sense murderous intent now as well as swells of mana so Yae super attack is completely useless.
The story mentions that "the stars were bad" is basically correct, its a huge confluence of factors leading to Rem who is far inferior to Yae being able to now fight her. Yae is tired from all the constant and previous fights like how she got her ass beat by Wilhelm, Rem's weapon is troublesome and matches her own weapon, Rem can't be taken down with chip damage because she regenerates rapidly, Yae abandoning Al's goal and now trying to kill Rem is what's tipping Rem off and letting her dodge if Yae was trying to incapacitate her she could probably win but she never figures it out. Yae also gets tricked that Emilia had been creating more ice under the falling platform throughout the fight so the falling platform hits the "ground" sooner than expected as an iceberg had been lifted up underneath it. Semi-incapacitated from that Rem gouges her with the flail but ninja bodies I guess don't have their organs in sensible places so she's not quite dead yet and Rem goes in for a final punch.
