Reze is an evil goddess. You can even tell she's laying it on just slightly a bit too visibly thick with the manic pixie dreamgirl act, but she's so fucking good at it it's irrelevant. She's so cute you don't care that she's fucking with you.
If I want to shill the movie to friends and family what chapter do they need to read to before the film starts?
Maybe I can just give a QRD on the setting.
Would you be able to bring people into the Reze movie completely blind, it is pretty self contained for the most part so I think it shouldn't be that bad

How old are you guys? I genuinely don't get why people like her. She's so far off from an ideal girl even when she's acting as one. It's my favorite CSM arc but I didn't give a damn about Reze on a personal level. Not even when she died.

Better question, why do you like this arc if you're not emotionally invested in Reze? I did not care for her when I read the manga and the arc was the weakest in part 1 for me, (liked her in the movie much more).

Bomb girl is a good villain
The chase scene and action are amazing
Beam
It's a well rounded arc with an interesting premise, a great climax and an intriguing resolution. Weakest arc in part 1 is the one that comes right after.

Sure you can appreciate it in a cold detached way but emotional resonance requires feeling attachment to the characters or themes on some level, and in this case Reze's relationship with Denji is at the core of the whole thing.

/a/ OPs with Western goyslop as the image should be an automatic three day ban. Kill yourself, secondary womanbrained tourist from Xitter/Reddit.

I've never watched or read CSM and have no intention of doing so; but I know everything about it from my ex-gf who was a massive CSM autist and would often explain the lore to me (I also broke the ice with her by posting picrel and asking "do you like anime" which to my shock hooked her).
From what I can tell, it seems like it would be a far more interesting series if it really committed to the althist scenario and were set in the USSR.

She's bisexual so she thought it was hot and cool. She's also a big EVA and Ito fan as well.
She looked almost exactly like Makima though she had freckles and glasses (ironically she was the most sub woman I've ever encountered, when she was with her gf she was the bottom and is now happily together with a friend of mine who is basically a grown up version of AJ from The Sopranos).

Holy fuck that's rough.
I had an inverse of that experience where I was going to see the early release of Boy and the Heron with my GF and she broke up with me a couple hours before I planned on us seeing it. Luckily I got a great seat I wouldn't have been able to get if we went as a pair, but it still feels bad man.
