I don't agree. Granted I've only read GLT, but you can tell a lot of thought and feeling went into making it. You could be able to make imagery similar to the style of the manga, but only a good writer can make the world feel the same as it does.

I'm not really sold on the premise. A lot of GLT's fun came from the Chito and Yuuri discovering the weird environments and artifacts of the past and a sequel is going to take away from some of the mystery surrounding these things. Plus, I'd rather see tkmiz move onto an entirely new series instead of rehashing his previous settings. Shimeji Simulation was a culmination of his past artworks and philosophies and he's now at a point where he either moves onto new works or gets stuck with nothing to say. Going back to GLT isn't going to help with taking that step at all and i's making me worried that there's nothing new planned even 2 years out from end of SS.

They're pretty empty and boring worlds and 90% of the show and manga is just yuu annoying her friend the entire time or doing fairly mundane daily stuff like sleeping, bathing, and eating. Somehow having infinite fuel for the motorbike tractor they started with.

Fairly sure humanity wouldn't just be raptured because they drove down a tunnel during a war. This isn't Halo's New Mombasa megacity where the covenant were crawling around the place killing anything that moved before glassing the city. There's just nothing as far as the eye can see. Just like those fake empty cities in asia. Shimeji sim is just your typical slice of life classroom setting manga and is even more forgettable.
