I want a route of Shirou, Taiga and Saber fighting the war against the other masters, getting closer together, learning the truth about Kritsugu together, getting to see each other's cool side and slowly falling for each other and then Archer absolutely SEETHING at Shirou for fucking what he considers his older sister while Rin and Sakura pretend not to care but are actually seething as much as Archer is.

And then Shirou awakens his magical circuit on his own and manages to use that magic to powerup both Saber and Taiga while he himself stops being a fucking bitch and uses his archery skills to fight for once.

I would be happy if it isn't even a romantic route and instead Shirou and Taiga merely strenghten their sibling-like rlationship as long as Archer ends up seething in jealousy because he left her behind to die painlessly in the Middle East like a fucking retard.

I don't know, but since I read the VNs after my teenage years, I can safely say that the SoL parts were much better than the loredumps, the edge, the abuse of twists and so on.
If I understood it correctly Hollow Ataraxia is more focused on the SoL side, so maybe I should try that one day.

The fact that the main reason Saber decides to betray Shirou and join Kotomine (and she is aware that means she'll have to survive by sucking mana out of extra crispy orphans no less) is because Shirou didn't cook for her enough in the route is fucking hilarious. King Arthur's honor and noble virtue only goes as far as she gets fed. Their entire relationship is Feeder and Eater. That's why Saber falls in love with him, not because Shirou is a good man with beautiful ideals but because Shirou is a kitchenchad.

Yeah, that's what I mean. She's usually used as a gag and is childish whenever Shirou is involved, but she's also shown to be caring and responsible when it counts.

It would've been nice to see more of Kiritsugu through her eyes and have her help Shirou heal with or without romance/sex involved. Plus, she's shown to be very strong for a human. If wobbly punches can defeat Saber then Taiga should be able to kill Gilgamesh with a bit of magic.

The ending you are thinking of happens earlier in the game, and Shirou has to do every single thing wrong possible to piss her off to get it. The game calls you a retard and questions why you're playing it in the first place.

I'm not talking about that one. But if you get that you're almost locked in already to get the Saber betrayal bad end. That's why I brought up the cooking. Your biggest source of Saber romance points is, in fact, from cooking for her.

It's not nearly as forgiving as you think. You need at least 7 Saber points (or was it 9? Or 12? Don't remember off the top of my head) to pass the loyalty check in the Church. If you blow off cooking for Saber enough to get the meme bad end, you're already at high risk of getting the betrayal bad end.
