To be fair, Sharingan in itself seems like a hack for training. He adapted Lee's style as his own after taking 1 (one) ass beating by him. He didn't even have to train. Like in theory, if you make 365 clones of yourself, and have them all practice for a day, it should be a year of training, right?
But training is done through gradual progress, getting a little better each time. You're better on day 2 than on day 1, better on day 3 than day 2, etc.
If you make 365 clones, all of those clones will be training like they're on day 1, like they have no experience at all. And even when you disperse them, it would be like you spent a year only doing complete newbie-level training.

There is no legitimate in-universe reason for why over the timeskip Jiraiya didn't teach Naruto his chakra nature or teach him that he shares his clones experience.

I always think of ideas for fanfics and constantly develop them in my head. Thinking of how I want the story to go, making all the shit make sense and everything, it's so fun and enjoyable to think on. I just can't make myself take the time to sit down and start writing again. I did it before, over a decade ago, and actually did really well but I never finished anything. That's probably what keeps me from writing the most, the thought of disappointing thousands of people by never finishing a story feels bad.

Move on to Pain, Naruto realizes his only option to beat such a tough opponent is to finish mastering Sage mode. Since he's already learned an imperfect sage during the time skip, mastering it now won't be such an ass pull.
The finally comes his training with Bee, where he comes to accept Kurama as his nakama. I think this set up would make his growth throughout part 2 much smoother.

What did Sasuke do to make them think that? He used an AoE chidori that could barely stun them, and a chidori sword that got BTFO'd by wood release. Orochimaru doesn't want him because he's jacked, he wants him for the sharingan, and the only reason he doesn't just take it out of his eyes is because Sasuke's body is compatible and won't lose chakra as fast.
