I often pondered the daily sleeping arrangement for a human and spider.
My best guess would simply be two web hammocks slung under each other. She in the top and the person below. That way when she gets in and the hammock stretches down, they are very close together, but it doesn't rest her full weight down on the lower occupant for 8 hours.
However I'd guess that sleeping in hammock everyday for years is actually not very good for a person.
And that sleeping on a long narrow (perhaps saddle like?) mattress, is also not good for the spider.
A body is not meant to stay in anyone position for that long, and people toss and turn in general.
As wonderful as it would be to spend every night as the little spoon, clutched under her, its just not realistic.
Ultimately my imagination fails me and I can't think of a sleeping system that provides intimate and consistent restfulness, which works for both.
