It would have been hilarious.
Specially as, supposedly, some theorize Rei I death also worked as a reminder to Gendou that she was just replaceable tool.

Yeah I have a ryona fetish, but it's a fact that in anime and games, when girls get hurt, the noises they make, all the groaning, moaning, crying, screaming, squealing, whimpering, sound very sexual.
