79-mid 2000s sunrise. late 90s to early 2000s jc staff. AIC ovas from the 80s. shaft pales in comparison to genuinely good animation from the ova boom, generally. though they are cool and i do consider them my favorite studio overall merely because shinbou's involvement. though i do wish he would episode direct again, i hate that he's relegated himself to teaching other directors to be less cool versions of himself.

No. Monogatari is a great adaptation of a complex, "non-adaptable" series, both accurate and complementary, relying heavily on directing. AIC ovas are just some scraps that stand out only by impressive fragments of animation and drawing

Their works with lolis in them are quite popular. Given how early they made some of them, there is a good chance many other lolis are based off of one of their characters. They helped make anime lolis a thing. All of the lolis before that just weren't the same as the modern, strictly otaku pandering, loli. Their art and animation are also the best in the industry. You couldn't even find a studio that's done better.

Bakemonogatari still had such a great ED. Some of the others are good, but it can be almost hard to enjoy them when they don't fully encapsulate the artistry that Bake had. If I were to label a close second it'd be Nise though and third might just be Off and Monster Season's. The one for Koyomimonogatari and Tsukimonogatari were also fairly decent.

Tsukihi Undo was one of the best in the series and Nadeko Draw was quite better than some arcs in Second and Final Season. I also liked the Acerola arc but can understand why some didn't.

Yeah, some of it gets blurry. The stuff with the abandoned house that Sodachi used to live in was interesting. Also finding out more about her past in general. The scene where they finally confront her in her Section 8 house was really expressive and engaging.
