You could do a S2, but it would be a razor thin tightrope to walk, KLK S1 nailed it so hard, so any fuck-up is gonna make S2 a pants shitter. While avoiding the plot hole of: wait, these aliens invaded before, why the fuck can't we beat them again? And anything you do is likely to just retread the original, but worse and with less likeable characters.

Probably not worth it.

I feel like Trigger has this big problem where they end up falling in love with their rival girl to the point that it detracts from both the story and the central heroine. It happened here and in LWA.

Speaking of which, it's insane that we don't have translations for those. They were written by Nakashima and they could have easily been actual episodes. There's one where Ryuko is require to take a written exam as part of Satsuki's dastardly plan but studying keeps making her fall asleep, and in the end she only passes because Senketsu was also reading the books alongside her.
