But I admit that also when the Egypt stands appear we have too many filler fights.
That's my biggest complaint with part 3. It's really campy but it's also really fun to read/watch

I liked part 4 in the manga the most.

Best char designs and interesting stands. Even the filler villains were decent. Part 4 was okay, but holy shit did the series take a dive after that.

I watched Child's Play. I was really surprised how much more violent Ebony Devil was. Like the worst Chucky really did was electrocute a guy, stab an ankle, bit a bitch, voodoo a dude's legs broken, a gas explosion, and pushed a lady out of the window (with a hammer). That sounds like a lot but it really wasn't. It wasn't nearly as gruesome as I expected an 80s slasher to be.

Meanwhile a bell boy got his face cut off and Polnereff got a tendon carved out. Maybe I'm just more squeamish to how Araki rips out chunks of people before every arc had a magic healer.

This ranking doesn't mean any parts I've seen are terrible, I love part 1, it's how I got into the show, it's just blown the fuck out immediately by part 2 and then you kinda forget about it.

I have not read 8 or 9. I like Josuke, Joseph, Diego and Jolyne, all of my favorite jojo characters. I used to love part 5 but over the years it feels dull and boring. Kira is an unforgettable character.

3,2,7 are best parts with 4,5,1 following. I read half of part 8 then the second part a year later so I do t remember it too well to judge accurately. Best characters are undisputed: Joesph, Hol horse, speedwagon, jotaro and Foo Fighters

I would say that it makes for the best TV of all the parts. It's really easy to pick up at any point in the story because of its monster-of-the-week format. Of course, part 4 does the whole monster of the week thing as well, but not as well as part 3.
