Looks like a lengthy series with 366 episodes, but do you guys recommend it?

Yeah, it's one of the big 3 for a reason. But the manga is a better experience, especially with how the anime altered things.

I loved it back in the day but it aged poorly. You are better off watching something modern that iterated and improved on the Bleach formula. Like Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer.

the early filler adds to it since the manga was pressured to get to teh stakes faster at the expense of the core cast bonding over basic ghost hunts, but once they get to soul society you should skip all the filler arcs

Read it then watch it. The manga becomes real artsy later on that just doesn't translate well with the anime. If it wasn't for the god tier ost, OP, and ED the anime would be a hard skip. Bonus points, read it with /a/ if someone ever does another read through. Bleach is a fucking is a comedic circus on a speeding train track derailing off the tracks when you read it with /a/. You truly missed out not reading it when it was still on going.

Jujutsu did not improve on the formula you are high to even suggest that. Hell its not even like Bleach its more like Naruto. Demon Slayer I havent seen but Jujutsu is ass compared to Bleach. The MC is joke, majority of the characters suck and the power system is really forgettable.

I wouldnt recommend it unless you just need some shonen slop. If youre alright with that then watch the anime raw up until the end of the Soul Society arc(IE when everyone pretty much goes "Oh those Ryoka are cool") and look up a guide of what episodes are filler and skip the filler.

Read the manga. You can watch the fights in anime though.
Then when you finish Fullbring Arc (chapter 470 or so) go straight to TYBW anime and drop the manga entirely.

Its really not. As a quick comparison Yuji is bland compared to Ichigo who you can define as cool and an annoying retarded brat all at the same time. Theres no equivalent for Captains it again is more like Naruto with the whole ranking shit and then theres the power system that again is more like Naruto with how they like to stress basic fundamentals like the weaver basket shit than how much power someone has.

It's a fun shounen to watch and read. I like the art direction, the fashion, the flamenco soundtrack when they go to ghost Mexico, and everything about Aizen. Like others said, identify and skip the filler.

Not even Jump is confident in the last arc characters....

The community pretty much dickrides Gojo and he had a special based around him so probably not.

Its well deserved though because the JJK cast is basically Narutos but more dynamically fucked. Gojo(Kakashi) and Megumi(Sasuke) more or less drown out Yuji(Naruto) in relevance even his despite his connection with the strongest being of the universe.

I don't understand the take that Yuji is bland when he's easily the most compelling character in the manga especially after Shibuya. Definitely has more going on than fucking Ichigo of all characters.

His role is being a strong but kind kid who keeps getting traumatized by the ruthlessness of the curses around him. Thats really kinda all there is to the character. He fucks around a bit at the start but the trauma makes him start being stonefaced.

It doesnt produce the effect that Gege really wants because Yuji is just really naive to begin with. Like he actually begs his inner demon to save someone and gets mad when he obviously laughs and does not give a shit.

Hes not. I was waiting for him to die myself with the way Gege killed one of his mentors and made him look helpless in the grand schemes of Sukuna alon top of giving him scars. He added nothing anyone cared about to scenes and when JJK was still being serialized people started mocking the characters massive irrelevancy by calling him COGji

Say what you will about Ichigo but Kubo Tite made sure that at the end of the day Ichigo had style and people who read Bleach will never forget that he was a punk that didnt just have pathetic moments he also had cool moments.

It's got great characters and build up but this only serves to ultimately disappoint as no character gets a satisfying arc. Instead of exploring one of the 3 dozen characters introduced in the first 2 arcs, you get 2 dozen new characters every arc that also serve no purpose other than "here new bad guy, bankai, fight"
It gets incredibly bland....but you will want it to be good the whole time. It's heartbreaking but worth watching through the soul society arc (skip filler and watch subs)

its worth watching to understand the hentai better.
but its the same as other shonens. It has it's moments but it's mostly drudgery with half episode long recaps, 20 second pan ins of characters faces, long ass dialogue that feels like it's there simply because they are struggling to fill the run time and such.

Aizen made the entirity of Soul Society look like helpless babies after chapters of hyping them up by introducing the concept that no matter how broken their abilities are it doesnt matter if his powerlevel was that much higher and it was. This is also on top of how he set up the Arrancars to be distractions at best and successfully manipulate Orihime into a practically NTR plot.

THEN he was so absurdly fucking strong at the end of things they couldnt even KILL him. He definitely did.

I started watching it at the beginning of the year and went a "season" a month. Overall been really enjoying it but the 2 months of bounts could have been fine but it felt they had ideas for 26 episodes but were told to make it 52.
