Bringing up again the topic of Gege's failure is making this group really stick, ive come to believe that one big mistake he did was shafting Kenjaku and Uraume's final fight in favor of just focusing on the Sukuna raid. Much like with Megumi's situation, people will remember a character more for their last few actions rather than their overall performance, as Megumi actually has a decent record overall but its just forgotten due to what he does in the final arc. Also on the flipside, you have Nobara being absent for like half of the manga but just thanks to her contribution to the final blow to Sukuna, people look at her very favorably despite having a pretty bad fighting record.

When you examine at what were the last actions of this group at the final arc, only Yuji really came out looking good:
>Yuji got to show his DE, had some heart to heart talk to Sukuna before dealing the finishing blow
>Yuta in Gojo's body failed to deal critical damage with Purple before collapsing due to burn out
>Maki failed to deal critical damage despite being given an opening, also the reason Sukuna got some Black Flashes to recharge
>Hakari being the only one to not get a chance against Sukuna, also entire fight with Uraume off-screen so you don't know if he actually was winning anyway

A proper Kenjaku vs Yuta would have been a way to showcase whether Kenjaku was actually wrong about his assessment way back in Shibuya how Geto could have won if he had all his Curses, or he could be proven right but thanks to having Maki back Yuta up they manage to win. Instead what happened wasn't really all satisfying for not just for Kenjaku fans but also Yuta fans, since not only was it a sneak attack rather than proper fight, we found out later that Todo was there to help Yuta land the hit so it felt even less by his own effort. Uraume vs. Hakari don't need to be explained, not just about having it all be off-screened sucks but also the fact that Hakari didn't actually beat her.
