I liked the show but the last thing I would describe it as is "deep." Its a very simple fantasy story with a good v. evil plotline thrown in.

I don't think deeper is the right way to describe them. You just look down in the water and the pebbles are right there at your feet.
It feels like people are too busy splashing around and looking for some grand boulder to come around the corner, ignoring the obvious fact that the rocks they were promised are less than two feet below the surface of the river, right under their feet.

I'd respectfully disagree with someone who simply didn't enjoy it, or at had something about the style they actively dislike
But genuine haters have nothing between their ears, they're overlooking the most obvious shit and making constant assumptions that they refuse to go back on even when face to face with evidence that they were wrong
