Why does most anime feel like it was made for autistic 16 year olds?
There is no subtlety or space for the viewer's interpretation of the work in the medium, a character will be in a situation where the viewer knows he'll be confused but just to let the viewer know he'll rub his chin, 3 question marks will pop up on his head and he'll say "hmmm, i'm confused" to himself.
100 people can watch the latest anime this season and 100 of them will come to the same conclusions and interpretations of the story themes and characters.
