I do enjoy these Infinity Worlds things, but I find the coupling of a restrictive message limit and somewhat slow-to-progress stories leads to them not really going anywhere.

Solution would be to pay for it, but I'm always hesitant to pay for adult content.

After messing around with ai role play tools a fair bit what I have found is that while they can be quite fun for a bit you quickly start to learn to feel out what the "range" of a model is. Eventually they all start to feel flat and hollow when the illusion of agency that the model has breaks down. Every LLM can only give you back what you spoon feed it, this particular site has a bit more legs because part of the fun is figuring out the what the person who made the scenario accounted for. Much in the same way a lot of the fun of a video game is exploring and finding the limits of the mechanical range that the developers created. In the long run though I think that it becomes apparent how engaging something like this is, is still a direct reflection of how much human effort was put into scripting it out.
