A bit of both. It's something that has an off switch when the hypnotist grants the victim freedom/leaves the scene or she manages to snap out of it. But prolonged exposure and repeated encounters can take a subtle mental toll. She might be more distracted and prone to daydreaming, and any future attempts at hypnosis will be quicker and easier. A mind that's been breached many times before is not going to last as long in a battle of wills. In any case, I prefer that to the victim being more prepared the second time and resisting, but it depends on the character and the story I suppose.

For Kaa-related hypnosis content, I like the idea of repeated encounters eventually letting him get a foothold in the mind of his prey, calling them back to the jungle in their dreams, planting a subconscious urge to put themselves in harms' way again so he can have another go.

This is a longshot, but I figured I'd ask: I've been putting together an official, authoritative of all of Outlet/IAmAnEagle's public work, including stuff in his and other people's Discord servers.
