Completely newfag here to this thread at least. Was curious about people's opinions on this specific scenario I had and if there's any ways to add more danger/fear into it

What is the general consensus of forced breeding? I've always had the weird thought and idea of one large, broodmother style monster would bait me(n) into their cave, abandoned warehouse, abandoned circus, etc. and essentially force them to be used as a source of semen. Yeah, that's pretty much all of them and the fae kinda slot into the monster category given there's quite a few different species that make then up. Deerkind, living deer people who caught the CWD from non sentient deer and spread it to all the other fae that had flesh like pixies and the like although non flesh fae like Spriggians managed to avoid the infection.

Also deities can be split into two different types, the proper gods which had been around a lot longer then any sentient race has, The Christian God is one of these, and the conceptual gods, brought about when there's enough belief latched onto a single being or concept, the Faes God of the waste being brought about a group worshipping the CWD tearing them apart and the New motive power being worshipped by the cult that built it which brought it to life.

How did most of humanity go for so long without knowing about all these creatures in general for so long? Because it looks like nonhuman creatures have been around since the middle ages at the very least and from what I can gather, they started to become more noticed in the information age which would have helped spread photos and reports of them, but I'm still a bit curious. The satellite city and seraphim stories seem to be connected in this universe your building as well since the world in those stories match your description of the world as we can see the mc meeting Celia in a bar which implies that beings like her are normal while seraphim talks about the all father who can be assumed to basically be the Christian God while deities like heroana are conceptual as she was born from the addictions of people.

Well, in the middle ages the CWD plague happened right after the black death which led most of the Fae getting purged since no one knew how to counteract the infection(It was spreading through water supplies and then by the fluids from the plagues victims). After the fae were either dead or in hiding, a bunch of the European powers came together and created the order of the rising sun, basically deciding that non humans were more trouble then they were worth and basically rewrote history to reigate the fae and others to legends whilst censoring anything else in the future. History passed and the order used wars to embed this policy into other countries and essentially evolving into a surveillance network to delete and alter any evidence of anything other then humanity from the Internet.

And yeah,I'd say mutants, robots and the like exist and they're byproducts of corporations although they were slowed down by the order going "Oh, that sentience you have there is pretty nonhuman, could you stop producing it and turn it off". Also j agree that a bunch of other stories could be tied in as well especially since all of this would be common knowledge post disclosure.

As for why humans are so attractive, it's mostly because other races find humans interesting because we don't really babe any built in bonuses to us. Humans can't use the Faes magic as a default nor can Humans use any Psionic abilities without some form of conduit piping the powers into them.

Yeah, the order essentially kept everything secret and the ruse came to a end when the US attempted to reveal the truth to the world. The order got wind and responded by bombing Congress in a attempt to start a Civil war so they could clean up any evidence the US had on them. Of course, the info had been shared with Five Eyes which then revealed who the order was and also declared them a terrorist group. A combination of every world government on their asses and a very angry human race essentially ended the order in a year and promptly started reintegration with all the other species. I'm planning on the story involving the dog-centaur woman to be around 50 or so years after disclosure so people are still kinda not used to monsters just roaming around and CWD is a issue to the point trains have to be sanitised to make sure no fluids are around.

And the individual cases were either simply missed in the process of greater threats or they could simply ensure that no one would ever believe you.

As for disclosure, People kinda lost it when they were told that all history was a lie and everyone started rioting and attempting to breach the orders sites to get to the stuff they were hiding. Eventually everyone calmed down after a year or so and most of the Fae got quarantined and tested for CWD before being let out into the world. Integration kinda took a while with days where groups fought eachother amd standard hate for non humans as a group but eventually everyone got kinda used to it over time.

And there's no human zombies until humanity turns its attention to the stars but even then infections are usually just one colony or ship and can be dealt with easily enough and there's eventually a cure, it just takes a while for them to make it.

Well I'm glad I can make them more endearing and bearable then what they actually are. As for the order I would say that they're more science based then anything else, I imagine they wouldn't like religion due to the God creation thing l that caused the God of the Waste to appear.

As for different divisions I imagine that a bunch of mysterious organisations in history could be linked back to them, the finders cult was the division dedicated to finding and mind wiping children who had experienced the supernatural and the red noise initiative from the CAIMEO urban legends was made to take out AI for example.

And I would say the current day order hates monsters and believes monster-human relationships should not be allowed.
