Well put. DALL-E 3 is one of the only tools - software or hardware - that has been intentionally made significantly less useful. It was predictable (we were blessed for that autumn and winter of 2023-2024) but, still, it's not the normal human thing to do. It's kind of hard to comprehend that people would turn a great thing into an okay thing under no real threat or with no real profit motive.

I could run local but I don’t want to. A lot of SD looks blurry. Some SD looks really good (esp with the right LoRAs) or a fine-tuned base model, but the then younlose flexibility and the more interesting kinds of variety DALLE has. VEO 3 vid clips look rather amazing, I must admit.
