Relatively new accounts, I didn't finish creating any ENF content until a few years ago despite always having an interest in it. Used to only post content in the ENF thread here and /e/
I also put considerable effort into ripping Sam's towel model from Until Dawn, hoping to do a "towel fell off" enf animation, only to discover the nude parts of the body were entirely removed from the mesh. Tried adding it back but my texturing skills weren't good enough.
I don't consider myself a good animator either, I really fucked up the cop's walk cycle in the gwen skateboard video kek, but I think it's just a matter of practice and using reference when you can. The longer you do it the better you get. Some things that would take me 2hrs to animate now feel like they take me 30min, just from having a better sense of where to put keyframes and the right amount of time between them. That only comes from doing it a lot.
There's also so many different styles of animation as well, I prefer more smooth game-like animations, but if you checkout blueskull29 he does more principled animation with squash-and-squish that feels a bit more cartoonish exaggerated, but overall gives a better sense of motion.
It's entirely up to you with how you end up animating things, everyone lands on their own style eventually.

attached webm is a frame-by-frame nude edit I did from rick and morty, with the idea that the explosion knocked summer's dress straight off her body, leaving her dazed and nude. I planned to have her realize her dress was blown off and cover but that turned out to be considerably more difficult to do and I wasn't happy with my nude editing abilities, so I stopped here.
