A US Army detachment is on a mission to exterminate the hostile mutant clans lead by an individual named Hades. After the events of the first film, the nearby authorities were alerted and sent their local PD to investigate only to be slaughtered by the hill mutants. General Ryan who had previous experience dealing with the old town's folk, whom the mutants were descended from would be dispatched to eliminate the threat.

After arriving with his men, he would send out Lieutenant Bishop and Jones, two female soldiers to tag and bag the bodies of the police officers that the mutants had strung up and crucified to serve as a warning in the area.
Hades (The protagonist and leader of the mutants) prepares for the raid of the military camp and would wage a guerilla war with the army.

Blair (a female mutant who Hades sent prior) leading a small recon team would capture Lt. Bishop and Jones. While "Pumping them for info" the mutants then acquire valuable intel such as the identity and the location of General Ryan who is the story's antagonist. This sets off a domino effect as the mutants successfully raid and kill all the soldiers in the camp while only losing five of theirs in the process. Afterwards they'd also manage to murder all reinforcing troops and personal that came after, using the terrain and deception to their advantage. Being able to destroy two out of the 3 tanks sent by the US Army in an ambush. It's then revealed Hades had been narrating/telling the story to us(the readers)from the point of view of General Ryan who he had captured still conscious and bloodied as it ends with him about to be eaten alive by a horde of mutant children.

While never confirmed from official sources, it's often assumed that the mystery woman who's seen giving birth in the opening sequence of "The Hills Have Eyes 2" is either of the two female soldiers. Logically due to the graphic novel being a prequel and a midquel but the chances are slim due to the given time frame as well as other factors that contradict against that theory.

If you want another book recommendation, I would highly recommend Glen Cook's The Black Company books. Really high quality grimdark fantasy series, but on topic it's also positively bloated with rape. During one segment in one of the books, the company battles this group of Amazon female warriors. So, I actually shilled out real money to get a physical copy of Prioli's book. I've only skimmed through it yet, but here's the part where she describes her rape in Juba.
