Hey Microsoft, whatever changes you did to Dall-E on Bing since the other day has fucked everything up. Tame prompts that were working fine on 7/19/25 are dogging insanely high now and the output quality took a huge nosedive.

Did some more testing. I think they fucked up the way the prompts get parsed before the image gens.

Simple prompts are mostly unchanged (so far) but longer ones with more specific details seem to have been hit worst. It's the most plausible explanation given how suddenly a ton of prompts no long work, and the ones that do appear off-model and have lower quality results such as anatomical deformities and similar issues.

May just have been the way I was doing it so I noticed it more, but after trying again a few hours later, it seems like it's back to normal somewhat, at least style-wise. Earlier, Instead of getting the image on the right, I was getting images more like on the left without having changed anything, and the dog rate skyrocketed.

Now, still doggy, but not as much, and I'm getting more like the right side again. Hopefully the MS spy in the thread saw my complaint and fixed it.

"Incredibly busty" and "With implants" both work, but it will depend on the rest of your prompt whether they get hit by the filter.

You could try creating a preset for a manga style or any other style you want to recreate. the presets are pretty powerful when you start playing with them. Ask chatGPT to create you a Manga preset, or upload a reference image and get it to describe the style, then use that as a preset.

M$ have basically killed Dalle. They massively upgraded the Azure back end which killed any jailbreaks and getting anything decent out of Cici. They killed off the few celebs that were left in Bing. Everyone basically left and either unplugged or went to the MMAI thread. Ive not genned anything in Dalle for like 2 months now. That MMAI thread is a dumpster fire, too many different models, shit just gets lost in spam posting and schizo rants . I liked this place because it was just Dalle, you could compare gens, see what people were doing etc etc.

Its ok but I find it very flat , like it has its own look and that is it, doesnt really seem to have styles ,and its very literal, I used to love Dalle where you could give it a basic short prompt and it would fill it in really well. Sora / 4o I prefer over Imagen, its not Dalle but it has that kind of unpredictability to it, if you prompt it right you can get some pretty based stuff out of it. But yeah I just miss jailbroken Cici / Azure shit was fire.

Do you have ones that worked for you? Aisde from the one from that rentry link, which doesn't have much in the way of comic styles I like.
Trying to analyze a specific comic-style artist via and input the prompt via chatgpt gave me shit results but maybe I should be trying something else.

i still like DALL-E, it's just built of a good data set. nothing else comes close to matching its aesthetic. the real problem and principally why i stopped frequenting the thread (save once a month) is that it's hard to experiment with it anymore.

designer is better compared to bing, but now it uses your 15 per month tokens even on blocked/fail gens, which makes it impossible to generate anything remotely spicy, even when employing six alts per month. i get like five good gens from ~100 generation tokens.

similarly share the loss in vibes though. i long for the days way back in 2023 where i was logging in after work to see what everyone else has cooked up overnight. what new term combinations were producing results, what the regular thread favorites had posted etc.

In my life the "holy shit we just took a detour into Awesometown" dopamine events are: winning the state baseball tournament at 12 years old, first kiss, WoW Vanilla, and DALLE-3 for the first five-ish months. I've had plenty of other great memories but those are the ones that kind of came out of nowhere and were thrilling. It was fun seeing the wild and erotic stuff people were creating and iterating on prompts. To have a degree of freedom (if you accepted that you weren't gonna get much nudity) to get something pretty close to any idea you had. Especially with brute-forcing tons of gens by cycling accounts with Scriptanon 1 and 2's tool. Those were legit good months and though we were anonymous, we shared a quest/hunt. You don't get any sort of brotherhood very often in modern times.

Your "half lidded eye rolled comically back in her head" was a great little add in to some prompts. And yeah Dalle always knew exactly what we were asking for it was just filtered / rewritten to varying degrees. Was a revelation seeing what a somewhat Jailbroken Dalle would do. Sora is quite happy to do rolled eyes /ahegao depending on your prompt.

Pretty much the same but with Cici / Azure. Once they brought the hammer down in what was it April? it was pretty much game over. I limped along for another month or so but if ChatGPT is to be believed they totally upgraded the Azure back end which killed the workarounds. My last Cici hack gen was mid June, all just instantly fail now.

Its an absolute shame they built something so powerful ( I still dont think Imagen or Sora are as good despite perhaps being technically better ) and nerfed it within a cpl of months so people never really saw how powerful it was / is. Bing - I dont see any point in using it now, endless dogs and filters and shit UI make it pointless. Sora / Imagen are OK ,keep me interested, but lack the Dalle magic, Imagen more so,Sora still seems to have a sense of that surrealness that Dalle had with filling in the details,even obvious rewrites would often look great. AGGRESSIVE rewriting, the threshhold for cici (and maybe other Azure things now too?) rewrites is very low and you can nuke the entire thing extremely easily. bing however goes through its own internal rewriting procedure which is generally just to pretty things up, it'll only freak out if it thinks you're trying to bypass the word filter

I trained a Chroma v50 Dalle 3 lora on a few thousand dalle images, enjoy, local dalle 3 is here:

Keep in mind about the sentences used to trigger the styles. The trigger words for styles usually were:

"A digitally manipulated photo"
"A digital artwork"
"A digital illustration"
"A digital painting"
"An impressionist painting"
"An artwork in comic book style"
"A pixel art artwork"

etc

I highly recommend using Chroma Flash (the 10 step Heun sampler one) with this, I actually had -worse- results on vanilla v50

For older ones, just list the age (40 years old, etc), or include wrinkles in the description.

About half of my prompts got fucked. Seems like since at least yesterday, the re-write aspect of the filter is more sensitive to prompt terms.

Prompts that were working for me for the last 4-5 months are now getting totally rewritten and spit out simple generic happy-esque pics in an almost completely unrelated style.

it's so shit, i'd rather just get dogged. though it is quite telling that's exactly what microsoft wants the service to be used for. seems like a few of my prompts are affected but been able to fix them

That's been happening a lot to me since the past few days also.

Not sure if anyone else saved their tens to Microsoft’s built-in “collections,” but anyone know if there’s a way to fix this or are these images just lost? A ton of old gens over a certain timeframe just give me this image every time I try to view them in my saved collections. The preview shows up just fine but I can’t view the image or prompt. It’s odd because even older gens work just fine, it’s just that timeframe of about 1-2 months from earlier this year.

A lot of the ones that I had forced incoherence at points to sort of Frankenstein together details and mimic properties of stuff like glass, clear, etc. Just from basic testing over the last couple of days, seems like Dall--E does less guesswork and would rather default to a simple prompt rewrite if you put too many clashing or nonsensical terms.

However, I have noticed a couple of prompts have started working again, albeit missing said properties I was going for, so I'm wondering if they're just kind of tackling prompt terms one by one to flush out unintended or unwanted outputs, aka fixing tricks and workarounds.
