I fucking hate the Timmverse Babs/Bats thing. Like, it's not even because they think they're a good couple, Timm literally did it to cuck Robin because he hated how corporate kept bugging him to push the kid in the show.
That's literally the only reason why it happened because Bruce Timm a grown ass man, resented a fictional character because corporate thought he was more marketable than Batman.
If Timm had at least pretended that it was a legit attempt to shake up the Batman mythos in an interesting way or something that would be one thing, but he literally only did it because he hated Robin.
