If I had to make a strong guess, considering it's nothing with guilt (personal, most likely), morals (suddenly deciding it's wrong), or money (from the art he already produces), and it's sudden AND out of his control, maybe a payment processor got their hands in his personal details and told him to quit or they wouldn't process it anymore. Substar he said has been great though. It's a real mystery. It sounds like he's being punished for being an artist, and the weird rewrite of "comes to... a multitude of reasons" is like he wrote what was punishing him and then changed it without thinking about how the grammar sounds. Nah, it has to be something related to a payment processor or a bank. Only they would be this gay.
