And I don't mean poor in a "she's just starting her career" kind of way, i mean she and her family have less that £500 to their name at any given time.
I am a bit older than her and run a budding martial arts dojo as well as working full time as a software engineer. I own the property we live in, and have plenty after mortgage and bills to spare at the end of the month. She works independently as a nail technician and earns below the taxable amount of income. Her estranged father and stepfather live abroad, and her mother lives in the UK in rented accommodation. There are no assets whatsoever forthcoming from the inheritance front, whereas I have my parents' half a million pound house and boat set to go to me as an only child.
I can't get it out of my head that I'm choosing to have a difficult life with this woman. Many women that I knew from university now work at banks, my peers are with well earning women that come from wealthy families, and I feel like I'm going to miss out. On top of this, I stand to lose a lot more in a separation in the future.
Meeting girls was difficult for a while as I work mostly from home, but since I started the martial arts club I have a number of eligible female students that work as vets / teachers etc, and I can't help but think that life would be easier with them.
What should I do /adv/?
