Will a thick gel butt cushion help with pains from sitting long periods of time? I purchased a cheap $40 one from amazon and it does seem to help me for a few hours, but the pain eventually comes back. Should i invest in a premium gel butt cushion, or would i get the same results?

>>33200812 (OP)If your tailbone is digging into the chair and producing a pressure sore then you want the kind of cushion with a cutout under the tail bone (picrel).
However, you should not sit for hours, but instead get up at least every half hour and move around. Prolonged sitting can result in health problems such as thrombosis in the legs.
