I'm a diagnosed schizo. I'm thinking about getting a vasectomy because I don't think I'm fit to raise children with my mental illness. I also plan on trying to fuck around a lot with other women and I don't want there to be a potential accident if I knock someone up because I'm being careless. I also would hate it if I raised a child who grew up with mental illness as well. Do you guys think I should do it?

They're not reliably reversible and should consider it a permanent sterilization. Most of the time they are but if you have any concern than you might want kids in the future you shouldn't do it

Condoms aren't foolproof and obviously wearing a condom doesn't feel as a good as not wearing one.
If he doesn't want kids there's no reason to not get a vasectomy.
