Need to hide a box-sized amount of... stuff from my family. 50x50cm max. Serious. - /adv/ (#33206647) [Archived: 1815 hours ago]

I live on a 2500m family farm. There’s the main house, some extra buildings (bathrooms, animal sheds), and I have my own room.
I need to hide a collection of items that, together, would fit in a box roughly 50cm x 50cm. Can't say what they are, but they’d definitely get me in serious shit if my family finds out they exist. Different sizes, but that's the total volume.

Looking for a hiding spot that wouldn’t even occur to anyone to check. Needs to be invisible and off-radar — not just locked away. Preferably somewhere on the property, but open to more unconventional setups.

Also planning to install an electronic lock on my room, but not trying to raise suspicion. Tips on making that look casual would help. Worst case, I need a fallback system in case the spot gets compromised.

Not trying to be edgy. I’m asking because I actually need this to work. Appreciate serious ideas only.

It's actually more comfortable being around someone who smokes weed than not sometimes. The most evil someone can be is just someone trying to get high while the evils of Mr. Perfect are all a mystery?

Zach is feeling very lonely and thinks anyone at all awaits them. Zach is nothing but a pitied kid with aspergers. Nobody cares about him. Nobody reads anything he says . Plainly ripe for suicide like a lot of kids on here. Be good to yourself. Rest

possibly the best way would be to hide it in plain view, unless the box itself is suspicious

Do you have any chickens on the farm? Put the box in a chicken.

Not edible, no. Not dangerous to others either, but still highly compromising if discovered. I'm not playing spy games or doing anything illegal I just need a place that guarantees mental distance. Somewhere no one *thinks* of checking, not just physically hidden.

Plain sight is valid, but not when the item itself carries weight. You ever look at something and feel it doesn’t belong? That’s what I’m avoiding.

Zach, go journal or something.

Still open to smart setups. Think barns, fake walls, heatproof containers, or passive deterrents. No dramatics, just logistics.

Just don't store it on that property but bury it innawoods or something. Farms always potentially have work done on anything so even if you go all the way you probably won't manage.

Make a hole in your mattress and put it in it. Cover it and sleep on it. Works perfectly as long as no one else will sleep on it or your mommy still does your bed. You also didn't mention the height. I don't know your farm, the old farm I grew up had multiple spots where no one looked for decades, but I still wouldn't trust it.

In your room, so you have some control
In plain sight, so overlooked
Disguised as something else - papers in a clothing bag, drugs in a file folder, money in a hollowed out book, etc
