If you're tall and have broad shoulders anon then you're probably mentally sabotaging yourself. Women love tall broad shouldered guys. Go socialise as much as possible until you become normie passing and you can escape this miserable hell hole, also yeah work out too. The only tall guys I have seen who are bad with women were lanky and overly self concious.

Honestly you just need to get out of your own head it sounds like. You can make it for sure.

How do you do that starting from scratch? How do you even meet people to socialize with?

best advice i can give you is find one friend who is extroverted and just tag along with them to a group setting. ideally have this friend be your roommate or something. if youre in college both of you join a club. this is the only way ive ever been able to build up any social life, and from there you build more connections and it becomes easier.

other than that, i have no idea haha. i think a lot of it is luck and repeatedly trying to join clubs, and not being dismayed when that doesn't always work out because a lot of it is luck, or being an extrovert which i assume you arent since youre on here. having negative self talk and self pity is by far the worst hindrance though, ive been plagued by it for years and this site only increases this mindset. do whatever you can to avoid the pessimistic attitudes, even do some CBT and meditation, otherwise every social setback and mild comments like in the OP will become neurotic obsessions and ruin your mind.
