Not for me but for my brother. His gf is a cunt and treats him like a dick and is a massive financial drain and dragged him into getting over 10k into debt with her. Hes neen with her a few years i think and hes lived with her for like a year or so in an apartment they got together.
Hes had it with her dragging his life down and is gonna move out while shes out for the weekend and leave her a note. Hes worried shes lose her shit if he said hes leaving her in person.

Question is, is that the right move? To just bail with no heads up? Leave her with the apartment she cant afford. Maybe im a pussy but that seems a little, idk blunt or something.

It’s hard to say, how bad was she with him? I’d probably give her 2 months to figure out the apartment. And tell her face to face, unless you think she’d be violent. You should leave with some class and some dignity. Just leaving a note is laughably cowardly. But if that’s all he can manage, so be it. Another reminder to not move with anybody you’re not engaged to.

I would do what is fair. Hard to say without knowing all the financial details. Still, if he can’t even tell her to her face it suggests that he knows what he’s doing is unfair. Even if she’s a bitch, I’d give her a month to sort things out. I mean is his name on the lease? Is there a legal obligation?

Ultimately as much of a bitch as she may have been your brother agreed to the set up for a long time. He should exit cleanly and fairly if it’s possible.
