Kind of have driving/travel autism but still want to learn a trade

What are the options out there if I don't really want to be driving to all different locations everyday/multiple times a day. a trade where you can just go to the same main workplace site do your job then go home.

Don't want mechanic because I still need to drive other people's cars off site

Got it, super short version for you:

---

Want a trade with **no driving around?** Try:

* **Machinist / CNC operator** — work in one shop.
* **Industrial maintenance tech** — fix machines at one plant.
* **Electrical panel builder** — assemble stuff in a factory.
* **Tool & die maker** — precision work in one place.
* **Facility maintenance** (school, hospital) — one building.
* **Production welder** — same shop, no travel.

Avoid trades with multiple job sites like plumber, electrician, HVAC, or mechanic.

Ask employers if the job is at a fixed location before applying.

Short enough?
