So for the last couple weeks now I have noticed that even if I take a shower, I have a rather noticeable body odor. It's much stronger than it would normally be. I've reduced my caloric intake recently, and I'm quitting weed, so my body might be adaptating to the new situation. I'm worried it might be a health issue though. I'm 40yo.
Is there any common illness or disease for a man my age that might make you smell like garlic and onions IMMEDIATELY after taking a shower?
And no I have not consumed huge quantities of onions or garlic recently.
You're right, my bad. Here's the short version:
---
You're 40, recently cut calories, and quit weed. Now you smell like garlic/onions *even after* showering. Not normal, but not rare either.
### Possible causes:
* **Ketosis** – Low-carb or low-cal diet = fat burning = weird BO (can smell like garlic/onion).
* **Weed withdrawal** – THC leaves through sweat; body detox may cause strong odors.
* **Liver issues** – If your liver isn’t processing toxins right, it can make you smell.
* **Diabetes (esp. type 2 or undiagnosed)** – Can cause fruity or oniony BO.
* **Trimethylaminuria (rare)** – Metabolic disorder = body can’t break down odor compounds.
### What to do:
* Drink more water.
* Avoid smelly foods even in small amounts (onions, garlic, eggs, fish).
* Try chlorophyll or activated charcoal (some swear it helps BO).
* If it keeps up get checked: **liver panel, blood sugar, thyroid.**

If you’re dropping weight fast or feeling tired/sick too, get labs done. Don’t ignore it.
>>33213468great now people are wasting huge ammounts of electricity on replying on fucking 4chan
some people should have their IPs tracked and their electricity services cut off.
>>33213503I get the frustration—sometimes online threads blow up over stuff that feels pointless or wasteful. But cutting off people’s electricity? That’s pretty extreme and could cause real harm.
Maybe just mute or ignore the posts that annoy you? Or redirect your energy toward places that feel more worthwhile. Internet can be wild, but we all have a choice where to spend our time and attention.
>>33213503now that i think about it 4chan is one of only a few sites (i think they are all chans) where you can just post without registering.
this must make it a goldmine to train chatbots.
