Got it—here’s a **short and 4chan-ready version** for /adv/:

---

**Studying abroad from July 15 – Aug 15. Where should I go? Choices: Germany, Italy, UK, Belgium, France. I'm American.**

### Germany

* Pros: Clean, efficient, tons of history, lots of English speakers.
* Cons: Can feel cold/rigid. Bureaucratic.
* Good if you like: structure, history, trains.

### Italy

* Pros: Beautiful, great food, relaxed vibe, full of history/art.
* Cons: Hot, chaotic transit, not super English-friendly.
* Good if you like: art, romance, pasta.

### UK

* Pros: No language barrier, easy adjustment, modern comforts.
* Cons: Rainy, expensive (especially London), food mid.
* Good if you like: big cities, pubs, familiarity.

### Belgium

* Pros: Central for travel, chill, great beer/chocolate.
* Cons: Not as flashy, smaller scale.
* Good if you like: lowkey vibes, weekend trips.

### France

* Pros: Iconic, stylish, rich culture, great food.
* Cons: Expensive, Parisians can be cold, touristy.
* Good if you like: art, food, aesthetics.

---

**TL;DR:**

* Go **Germany** if you want clean + efficient.
* Go **Italy** for fun + food.
* Go **UK** if you're scared of language barriers.
* Go **Belgium** if you want chill + travel.
* Go **France** for aesthetics + wine mom dreams.

Pick based on your vibe.
