Am I depressed or psychotic that I am convinced I can only live out my dark fantasy romance adventure if I die/kill myself so I can be reborn on a better server/world that aligns with my desires? How do I cope? This world is not magical and exciting enough for me, all I want to do is sleep and dream. I am absent minded all the time anyway. Should I even tell my boyfriend about these longings?

Yes, you are depressed or psychotic. Or both.

Just remember that you will not actually be reborn anywhere if you die; you will simply cease to exist forever. This life is all you will ever get.

>Should I even tell my boyfriend about these longings?
Yes. He may persuade you to go to a doctor or a therapist, which is what you need.

Top brainlet take

You want to sound rational and logic but you come off retarded. Forever does not exist. It never did. That infinite death/nothingness you speak about? It ended the moment you were born to begin with. Yet somehow it is supposed to continue forever starting the moment you die because le endless death le one life, etc.

Truth is nobody knows. But is pure arrogance to assume that if you were born once, you cannot be born another time. It happened once, it can happen again, even if it does not actually. The possibility is there simply because death/nothingness has a beginning and an end.

remember life before you were born? the black nothing expanse, forever? That's what you go back to when you're done. Best make the most of the cards you're dealt. As they say, "the best you can hope for is to die in your sleep"

Is that even so terrible? Do you have any longings, fears, loneliness or pain when you sleep? One that suffers wants it to end, one that desires something badly wants to obtain it or lose the desire, if that eternal sleep relieves it one way or the other, why should we be afraid of it?

This believe is based on your own delusions. Reality isn't based on one individual mind. If you are "reborn" then you wouldn't have any of your desires and there are so many more possibilities which you can't even imagine. Your mind is part of the present self, and anything else is out of your reach. So killing yourself would not make you go to another world. Don't talk to your bf about it, but to a therapist who will give you haldol

There is not one single word of this post that makes sense. If you would like to provide some hard evidence that a person continues to exist even when their physical body has been completely destroyed, we'll be happy to listen; but you can't, because there isn't any. And if you are going to make an unfalsifiable claim, the burden of proof is on you, not on the sceptic.
