This is the same logic as suggesting that a man should be able to get his dick out in public because it's the responsibility of other people not to look at it.

Because if you do, you'll get put on a sex offender's registry sooner or later. It counts for 'obscene behaviour' if someone sees you watching it openly on public and decides to contact authorities.

Let's say you're on a bus or train, and the guy behind you sees your phone and your depraved porn on the screen. 'Big deal' you may think; 'so what?'
