I met my girlfriend roughly a year ago while I was travelling and at this moment in time, we are long distance

The thing is, sometimes in my opinion is a bit controlling. Yesterday I texted her if I could call her and she told me she couldn't at the moment but she would be available an hour later as she was having dinner when I texted her

So I had a spare hour so I decided to call my friend in the meantime but I did let her know and she told me to just call her whenever I was done calling my friend

So, she told me she would be available one hour later the moment I first texted her and I finished my call with my friend 15 minutes later but since she told me "call me when you are ready" I didn't think it would be a problem. I was wrong.

She got upset over it and she felt slightly jealous of my friend and thinking I was putting my friendship over our relationship or something. And when I got defensive she said it wasn't that serious.

I'm not sure but there's something about the whole interaction that rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe could be a culture difference since she is Korean but I don't know. At the same time I don't wanna break up because of my lack of options if I do since I'm not very attractive.

Would you consider this to be a red flag?

No. Its normal woman behavior that you need to calmly correct.
