Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone knows a way to do something like side quests in real life.
I really enjoy walking around my city, and whenever I help someone with directions—or just anything, really—it makes me feel really happy.
So, does anyone have any suggestions?

usually markets are full of opportunities for sidequests
at least in my country where markets still exist and haven't been replaced by supermarkets.
I'm not into sidequests but 1 out of 5 times I go I end up in a short sidequest because a lot of people of all walks of life go there and have very varied needs
mostly carry their bags or take care of something while they come back with something else or something like that but still

Go to a bar and ask if they've heard any rumors

This honestly works if you find the right staff. Not always, though.

Talk to strangers in general if they don't look busy. I ran into an old man not long ago who actually just randomly talked to people who walked past him. He's try to strike up conversations regarding things he observed about them until he could find a means to give advice or suggestions. I saw him send a man and his daughter on a random quest to a petting zoo because her shirt had a bunny on it!
