Yo, today would have been nothing special if it weren't for the SUDDEN MATH EXAM.Well,The thing is, today my teacher took me aside and criticized me for using logic in a crap way to solve math problems.I'm really bad at math, I swear I'm not smart enough to apply 'logic' to math. I hope someone can give me some advice.

Most school subjects, from math to history, are designed not only to teach you the thing itself but also the best way of dealing with it. (The history course, for example, is not just names and dates but how historians look at them).

"Best" usually means the way experience has shown is most efficient or useful

That's why math courses make you show the intervening steps. It's not enough to get the right answer - they want to see you're getting it the right way.
