it's extremely hard to do on purpose and on top of that you'll need a lot of time, money, and energy to get back up - you'll need to learn to move again and it's going to hurt like hell. before knowing this, i've always wanted to try it. i feel your pain

I get banned for being on topic about these things. Why you gotta be an arse like that?
Need more info. What would be your surrounding conditions, how long do you need, shit like that. You’re not being a retard are you?

Even for something like an induced coma you'd need to be hooked up to all sorts of machines 24/7 to keep you functioning.
Your body is meant to be constantly moving, even just lying still without a carer to reposition you will create nasty wounds on your body (bed sores) in under 24 hours. Comas are hell, you don't want to be in one.

If you want a break go on a retreat, vacation, spend a weekend getting stoned or whatever.
