Anyone in here with asperger or autism get meltdowns or shutdows? What does it feel like?

When I'm in stressful situations I feel like there's too much information coming to my brain and I cannot think clearly, it's mostly false bullshit and thoughts repeating. When I go to silent room for 1-2 hours it goes away. Does that sound something like a meltdown or shutdown?

It's a bit complicated and difficult for me to explain, but what I usually do is I try to redirect my heightened feelings to something more logical. Medication and therapy helps most of all.

This isn't autism.
Not saying you dont have it, I have no indicators for or against that for you so giving you benefit of the doubt... but what youre specifically describing here is very normal common human experience.

And yeah, sounds like burnout, overwhelm, overstimulation
