Started a new job super quiet and overly polite, and now I feel stuck in that image. I want to be more chill and social, but it’s tricky since people already see me a certain way. Has anyone else gone through something like this? Or got any advice? Just curious if others have felt the same.

First impressions matter but don't expect yourself or others to keep up the same conduct.

I tell a lot of dirty pussy asshole jokes with people I know, I would never open with that stuff.

Just be nonchalant about it and don’t be afraid to have a conversation.

Yes they are that Iimportant but they can be over come.
I once heard it takes 10 times to overcome a first impression .this should be easy in an office setting. Just don’t try too hard
