Now she gets tons of DMs from guys, some kind of famous (lower tier influencers and pro athletes). How do I navigate this? I don't want to neg her, but I also don't want to feed any delusions about becoming a real celebrity either.

edit: I mean few hundred thousand followers. She just got over 400k recently

whatever you do, you cannot act even insecure for one microsecond. Because she has the anti-insecurity missiles pointed right at your head because she knows deep down this is now a situation if shes getting messaged from influencers and athletes. You can never predict what people will do, but if she has a good imagination and history of low self esteem it might not be good odds for you. If shes relatively healthy its obviously going to be easier to navigate.

If it ever comes up you should act like its *cute* and not serious. Something silly and juvenile and end the conversation there. And pretty much never bring it up. Other option is to go in the total opposite direction and constantly make jokes about how youre going to get replaced and how shes going to leave you for some better guy. Theres a way to do that skillfully but Idk,,, it might also introduce ideas that werent previously there and also does smell insecure to a degree, but it does have the benefit of easing tension if there is any.
